ctscan.jpgMany of us take it fore granted how much medical technology has evolved into what it is today. In the past, if something hurts in an arm, it is simply cut of for retaining it would result in a useless limb anyway. The arrival of x-ray machines has allowed doctors to see the insides of the human body without having to cut it open which can in itself cause death. CT scans further improved the diagnosis part of medical practice for it allows doctors to see more in-depth soft tissue and other human body parts that were previously void in x-rays. The latest addition to the see-through the body arsenal is the MRI which uses high power magnetism to form 3-d images of the body allowing manipulation on all axes. The fastest diagnostic tool is an x-ray next is the ct-scan which are usually used in emergency cases.
