There are 47 Million Americans who doesn’t have health insurance and it keeps on rising. Lots of uninsured face medical troubles like debt usually go without necessary care and even die untimely. 2002 marks the year when a report was released that gives an estimate of 18,000 adults nationwide between 25 – 64 died because of not having health insurance. This is further complicated by the fact that the financial crisis is now causing more and mroe people having to turn finances for food and mortgage payments or else end up in the streets with nowhere to go. Another problem is that the new grouping system set by the government for MedicAid qualifications has one as either over or under qualified with a wide open gap in the middle. Poor people who do earn something end up as over the poverty line but unable to afford private insurance.
